History

Quinta do Gradil has a long and rich history, which can be traced back in the 18th century. The finest terroir of Lisbon wine region and the experience of the past together with the most advanced technology are reflected in our wines.

Viticulture

The soils are clayey, with some spots sandy-clay and good drainage. The broad slopes at the foot of the Serra de Montejunto privilege of an excellent exhibition and its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean gives it a natural acidity.

Winemaking

Vinification in mechanized thanks at a temperature of 26ºC. After the malolatic fermentation, the wine was aged for 12 months in French barrels.
