Quinta do Gradil
The Classic Range of Quinta do Gradil is made up of bi-varietal wines we make on all harvest years. These are our flagship wines, of which we make the most amount and which are sold at the most points of sale. This range includes a white wine, a red wine, a rosé and a sparkling wine.
The mono-varietal wines are produced in limited quantities and are one-off productions, depending on the harvest. This is the “Best of the year” range, which is exclusively for restaurants and specialised wine cellars. The Quinta’s objective is to launch, every year, a wine from the variety considered to be the best out of each harvest that year, whether from white grapes or red ones, thus allowing for the expression of each of them in the unique terroir of Quinta do Gradil.Next, we have the Reserve wines, special wines that we only make in exceptional harvest years. These wines are also sent to specialised wine cellars and quality restaurants, where consumers normally seek out this type of niche wine.
Castelo do Sulco
Castelo do Sulco carries the mark of Quinta do Gradil It emerged in response to an increasing trend towards the consumption of quality wines by increasingly well informed consumers in search of products with the best quality/price ratio. The brand has invested in the wines of Lisbon, thus taking on the mark “Lisboa em Garrafa” as a seal of quality.
The entry range of Quinta do Gradil is a more accessible brand. A range for young people, tourists, lovers of good food, of vibrant Lisbon, of time spent with friends.
The Mula Velha brand is produced at Quinta do Gradil It is exclusively available in Continente hypermarkets, in Portugal.
A brand that seeks to honour the mule, at one time considered as man’s right hand in agriculture. This animal, greatly used in tasks requiring strength and stamina, as a means of transport, as well as in agriculture for tilling the fields, this descendant of a cross between a donkey and a mare combines the best characteristics of its origins: restraint, patience and the confident step of the donkey, with the vigour and strength of the mare.
