Vineyards and Cellar
Of the 200 hectares that make up Quinta do Gradil, 120 contain vineyards planted with Portuguese and international varieties. Sauvignon Blanc, Arinto, Viosinho, Viognier, Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tannat, Petit Verdot and Syrah, are some of them, from which white, red and sparkling wines, a late harvest wine and a spirit are produced.
The grapes of Quinta do Gradil are vinified in our cellar, coordinated by Mr. Pedro Martins. Following that, an experienced and young oenological team, with the oenologists António Ventura and Vera Moreira, in collaboration with the Viticulture Manager, Bento Rogado, is responsible for ensuring that the grape harvest is successfully organised.
